Payment Policy

At Mainboard Models, we strive to ensure timely and transparent payments for all talent. These terms govern all bookings of Models and Talent (“Talent”) through Mainboard Models (“Agency”). By confirming a booking, the Talent (“Talent”) agrees to the following unless otherwise negotiated in writing. Please review our standard payment policy below:

Payment Timeline

  • Payments to models are issued on a bi-monthly schedule, with disbursements initiated on the 1st and 15th of each month.

  • Payment timing is dependent on when Mainboard Models receives funds from the client, which typically occurs within 30–90 days after the booking.

  • Once client payment has been received and the model’s payment forms are on file, the model’s payment will be included in the next pay cycle.

How to Receive Payment

  • To initiate payment processing, models must email info@mainboardmodels.com with their full legal name, date of booking, project name, location, and the rate.

  • Upon receipt, our accounting team will provide the necessary payment forms for completion (direct deposit authorization form and W-9).

  • Payments will only be released once all required forms have been submitted and verified.

  • Please DO NOT reach out directly to the client regarding payment. All payment questions or ETA requests must be directed to info@mainboardmodels.com only.

Represented Models

  • If a model is cast by Mainboard Models and is represented by another agency, all payments will be processed and released directly to the model’s primary agency of record, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • The representing agency is then responsible for disbursing payment to the model according to its own policies.

  • Mainboard Models is not responsible for delays caused by third-party agencies in releasing payment to the model once funds have been transferred.

Method of Payment

  • Payments are made via direct deposit or mailed check (according to the payment preference on file).

  • The actual receipt of payment may vary based on bank processing times.

  • Models are responsible for ensuring their payment details are accurate and up to date on payment forms submitted.

Agency Fee

  • Mainboard Models retains a standard 20% agency commission (or as otherwise agreed in advance) from the model’s total fee.
